Our range of skip sizes are designed to accommodate various waste disposal needs, from small household clearances to large-scale construction projects. Whether you're tackling a home renovation, clearing a garden, or disposing of bulky items, our skips are built to handle different volumes and types of waste. Smaller skips are suitable for lighter volumes of waste but can still handle heavier materials like furniture or small amounts of rubble. The 6-yard and 8-yard skips, typically used by builders, are perfect for construction and renovation projects, as they offer a balance of volume and weight capacity. The 12-yard skip, while offering more space, is designed for bulkier items but cannot be used for heavy materials like soil or concrete.

When planning your skip hire, make sure you choose the correct size based on the volume of waste you expect. Overloading skips can lead to additional charges and delays. For smaller projects, a 4 or 6-yard skip may be sufficient, but for larger clearances or construction work, you may need an 8 or 12-yard skip.

Certain items cannot be disposed of in skips, including asbestos, fridges, freezers, tyres, batteries, electrical appliances, and hazardous chemicals. Additionally, if you plan to place your skip on a public road, a permit may be required, and the cost is not included in the quoted prices.
